I think that their salaries are too high because a football player spends two hours kicking a ball, and for this 2 hours his salary is €9 million, and the same for actors or actresses, they do a movie, and they only have to memorize some words, act and then, €15 million for doing that. Doctors, teachers, firefighters... save lives, and work for the education and their salaries are maybe €2000 a year? It´s very unfair.
In my opinion their salaries are very high, because there are other people that they do the same job and they don´t get millions to do their job. For example a football player of second division gets 24.000 € per year and Cristiano Ronaldo only for playing in Real Madrid CF gets 12.000.000 € ... and they do the same job !!!! . We are also guilty because we pay a lot of money to see them play!
I think the celebrity salaries are very high because other people who have similar jobs but they aren't famous don't earn the same or similar money. Another problem that makes celebrities have really high salaries is the media, because if they didn't give too much importance to them, I think they would earn less money.
In my opinion, film stars, football or basketball players and singers earn too much money, and it isn't fair. I think there are a lot of people that earn less money, and do more important things than those people. For example a doctor, that saves lives, is more important than a football player, and a football player, the only thing that he can do is score a goal and he earns more money.
In my opinion we are who made posible that famous people earnt so much money, because we see them on TV, in the stadiums, we buy their souvenirs... If we don't do that they won't earn all that money.
In my opinion,people now are very insensible because celebrities take a lot of money that other people need to live for example the children of Tanzania or other countries. And other impotant jobs don´t get the same salary as these people, like policemen, that save lives, firefighters, nurses, doctors, etc.
I think that celebrities have a too high salary and in my opinion this is unfair because of two main reasons: 1.- They earn more money for making a film or for playing football than a doctor, a lawyer, a surgeon or a firefighter that can save our life or help us and this is too unfair. 2.- There are many people that can sing as well as a popular singer or maybe better than he/she does but, because of being less beautiful or for another physical reason they don't earn the same money and this is also unfair. Anyway, I think that we also pay a lot of money to see them and this is, in part, our fault.
